Conformance target
PIQE targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA for the public website and core tools. This is a continuing engineering target, not a claim that every browser, assistive-technology combination, or third-party advertising interface is free of barriers.
The launch review covers semantic headings, landmarks, labels, focus visibility, keyboard operation, contrast, 200 percent zoom, 320-pixel layout, reduced motion, status announcements, image alternatives, and not relying on color alone.
Accessibility features
Every color input has a visible or programmatic label and a text value. Copy and generation results announce through a live region. Palette locks and ordering have buttons rather than drag-only gestures. Focus remains visible and motion is minimized when the operating system requests it.
Color states include text, symbols, ratios, or names. Artwork images have specific alternative text, while decorative color shapes are hidden from assistive technology. The image picker provides a standard file button and extracted swatch list as alternatives to drag-and-drop and precise pixel clicking.

Known limits
Selecting an exact pixel from an image canvas is inherently visual and pointer-oriented. Keyboard and screen-reader users can still access and copy the automatically extracted dominant-color list, but PIQE does not yet provide coordinate-by-coordinate keyboard sampling.
Third-party consent and advertising interfaces, once enabled, are supplied by Google and can introduce behavior outside PIQE’s direct markup. We will configure a Google-certified consent platform and review the integrated result before advertising is activated.
Testing approach
Automated checks validate HTML structure, links, metadata, core color math, and absence of ads near prohibited interactions. Browser review covers mobile and desktop widths, keyboard flow, console errors, uploads, clipboard fallback, and generated page output.
Automated tools do not prove usability. We also inspect real rendered pages, zoom behavior, focus order, and the wording of errors and labels. Future feedback from people using assistive technology will be prioritized over a perfect automated score.
Ongoing accessibility review
PIQE does not currently operate a public accessibility inbox or submission form. Core routes are rechecked with automated rules, keyboard flows, zoom and responsive layouts during scheduled releases; known limitations are documented on this page.
Do not send private images or accessibility information to guessed or unofficial addresses. The support policy will be updated if a direct feedback channel becomes available.
