Using the site
By accessing piqe.art you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The service is intended for general design and educational use and is not professional legal, medical, financial, conservation, or printing advice.
There is no purchase, subscription, virtual credit, or paid account. PIQE may change, add, remove, or discontinue a free feature, but it will not convert an absent purchase into a payment obligation.
Tool output and your responsibility
Color values, names, palettes, conversions, gradients, mixes, extraction, and contrast calculations are provided on an “as available” basis. PIQE tests core formulas, but results can depend on browser behavior, screen profiles, source files, rounding, transparency, printing profiles, and the real component.
You are responsible for reviewing the final work, testing accessibility in context, confirming brand and trademark restrictions, obtaining rights to images you open locally, and using printer-supplied profiles for production. A passing pair in the contrast tool does not certify an entire product.
Local image processing
The image picker is designed to keep files in the browser and not upload them. You should still use only images you are authorized to access and should not process unlawful material. Browser extensions, operating-system sharing, screenshots, or modified copies of the site are outside PIQE’s control.
Keep private source images on your device. PIQE does not provide an upload or support-submission channel, and no private image is needed to use the tool.
Site content and artwork
PIQE’s original writing, interface, code presentation, palette selection, and analysis may be protected by applicable rights. You may use copied color values and generated CSS in personal or commercial design work. You may link to and quote short portions of editorial text with attribution; do not republish the complete site or present PIQE analysis as your own.
Underlying artworks identified as Public Domain remain subject to the museum record and any applicable non-copyright restrictions. Museum names and credits do not imply endorsement. PIQE does not claim ownership of the public-domain artwork.
Acceptable use
Do not attack, scrape at a harmful rate, bypass security, inject malicious code, impersonate PIQE, interfere with other visitors, or use the service to distribute unlawful material. Ordinary indexing by reputable search engines and reasonable personal or research access are permitted.
Automated reuse must respect source institutions, attribution, infrastructure limits, and applicable law. Do not frame an ad or tool to induce accidental clicks or misrepresent a PIQE result as an official museum or standards-body certification.
Advertising and external links
The service may display Google AdSense ads after approval. Advertisers and linked sites are responsible for their offers, content, privacy, and transactions. An ad is not a PIQE recommendation. PIQE does not process payment for an advertised product.
External links are provided for sources and convenience. A link does not guarantee continued availability, accuracy, or endorsement. Review the destination terms before using its material or service.
Availability and limitation
PIQE is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, exact cross-device color identity, or complete absence of error to the maximum extent permitted by law. We may correct a tool or page without preserving prior output.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PIQE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from reliance on a color result, printing difference, design rejection, inaccessible implementation, third-party link, or service interruption. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Changes, governing context, and support
These terms are effective September 2, 2026 and may be updated for material service, legal, or policy changes. Continued use after an effective change indicates acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
The service is operated from the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer and privacy rights in your place of residence are not displaced by this statement. PIQE does not currently operate a public inbox or submission form.
