What we publish
The editorial scope is color choice for digital design, visual communication, accessibility, and art-based learning. Launch content consists of functioning tools, practical guides, a finite public-domain art collection, and the trust documents needed to understand the service.
We do not publish isolated color-code pages, automatically indexed search results, empty tag archives, rewritten museum descriptions, or keyword variants that repeat the same advice. A new page needs a distinct search intent, useful result, and reason to exist in the navigation.
Source hierarchy and attribution
For standards and technical behavior we prefer W3C specifications, standards-body explanations, browser documentation, and original authors. For artwork metadata and rights we use the holding museum’s record. Secondary sources may explain context but do not replace a primary source when one is available.
Claims that depend on a source link appear near the relevant explanation or in a clearly labeled source panel. PIQE does not copy long museum descriptions or articles. Artwork commentary and practical applications are original analysis based on the visible work and calculated palette.
Calculations and examples
Shared color math lives in one tested module so tools do not implement conflicting formulas. Known examples verify conversion and contrast behavior. Every tool discloses assumptions, such as opaque sRGB input or unprofiled CMYK approximation.
Examples are labeled as examples rather than first-hand case studies. We do not invent users, clients, experts, performance results, or personal experience. Tool output is checked in the production build before release.
Automation and localization
Automation may assist calculations, formatting, code generation, image sampling, and translation drafts. It must not create unreviewed indexed variants or fabricate evidence. Source URLs, numerical tests, page links, and the final rendered language are checked before publication.
English and Korean pages aim for equivalent usefulness rather than word-for-word symmetry. A language page is not released with missing sections or placeholder keys. Both versions are included in scheduled content reviews.
Advertising and commercial independence
The planned business model is display advertising. Advertising does not determine calculation results, artwork selections, or standards conclusions. Ad units are visibly labeled and separated from buttons, upload areas, results, navigation, and policy pages.
Affiliate links are not part of the launch collection. If they are added later, the relationship will be disclosed before the recommendation and only products directly relevant to a reader decision will be considered. Paid placement will not be presented as independent editorial selection.
Corrections, dates, and removals
Scheduled reviews compare tool output and factual claims with tests and primary sources. High-priority issues include wrong accessibility results, privacy behavior, broken core tools, and artwork rights. Verified material changes update the page and review date.
A page may be removed or noindexed if it becomes inaccurate, duplicative, unsafe, or impossible to maintain. Dates change only after a substantive review. PIQE does not currently accept external correction or rights-review submissions.
